The Annapurna region has a wealth of scenic trekking trails which can be linked together and made for interesting circuit loops. For those constrained with time, trek to Ghorepani and Poon hill trek could be an excellent choice. Beyond the bamboo and rhododendron woodland, the valley narrows and leads to the high hilltop village of Ghorepani and a superb viewpoint (Poon hill) overlooking the great rift of the Kali Gandaki Valley, the deepest gorge in the world. At the climax of this trek, from Poon hill at dawn you will enjoy one of the most spectacular mountain views on earth. As the sun touches the snow capped summits, the Himalayan giants - Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Annapurna (8091m) along with the jagged edge of other peaks - gradually reveal their grandeur. This Ghorepani - Poon hill is a rewarding trek for nature lovers.
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu(1300m) & transfer to hotel
Day 02: Fly /Drive to Pokhara & check in hotel
Day 03: Drive to trailhead Nayapul (1070m) & trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m)
Day04: Trek to Ghorepani (2800m) O/N at Lodge
Day05: Early morning trek to Poon hill, one of the best viewpoint spot to see Mt: Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Mt: Fish tail. After breakfast at Ghorepani trek back to Tadapani
Day 06: Trek to Ghandruk
Day 07: Trek to Nayapul (21/2hr) & drive back to Pokhara & overnight stay at hotel
Day 08: Full day sightseeing in Pokhara
Day 09: Fly /Drive to Kathmandu & stay on your own
Day 10: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 11: Transfer to airport for journey back home
